[austechwriter] Permanent technical writing role available

LiveNote is the leading provider of transcript and evidence management
solutions for the legal profession in the USA. Our software development team
is located in the CBD in Melbourne.

We are looking for a multi-talented technical writer to join us in a
permanent role. You will need the following experience and skills:

*       At least three years technical writing experience producing both printed
        and online documentation (HDK/XDK skills preferred), ideally in a
        software development environment
*       Experience in writing requirement specifications, technical notes, white
        papers and other documents for a technical audience
*       Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for
        design
*       Team oriented, but also able to work independently
*       Ability to juggle several tasks and prioritise effectively
*       Ability to deal effectively with both technical and business staff
*       Skilled user of Word, Visio, and graphics tools
*       Experience using HTML and Web publishing tools
*       Interest in user interface design
*       Ability and interest in assisting with testing when deadlines are tight
