Steve et al,
I can only configure the list so that replies are sent to the list OR to the
sender. Thus there can be no difference between clicking REPLY and clicking
REPLY TO ALL.
<SUCKEGGS>
If you wish to reply just to the sender and not to the entire list, select
and copy the sender's address in the FROM field before clicking REPLY or
REPLY TO ALL, and then paste the sender's address over the list address in
the new message.</SUCKEGGS>
Cheers
Geoff

Subject: [austechwriter] List Changes
I firstly need to say I am extremely impressed with the migration process.
As stated many times previously, it was almost completely transparent and
utterly effortless.
However (this was almost a given, right?), there are a few things which are
noticeably different.
1) No ad crap. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank
you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. And again, thanks. I have a
fair idea of the amount of work required even for an unmoderated list, let
alone a migration. Thank you for such a wonderful job.
2) Reply to all... I am used to and strongly advocate for many good reasons
the ability to additionally directly reply to the person involved. Of
course, I also ensure my sig block has an email address so that systems like
the current one don't get in the road of this for my helpees. The current
system hides the email address.
3) Are these messages publicly accessible through search engines? If not, we
waste wisdom on a far smaller audience than is required.
