Business/Technical Writer (Ref 5715)

Contract: 3 months to begin mid/late July.
Rate: circa $40p/hr
Melbourne/CBD


Our client is seeking an experienced Business/ Technical Writer who =
will be
required to consult with a variety of business representatives to =
obtain
information relating to their business practices and convert this
information to appropriate business documentation. Furthermore, you =
will
develop, deliver, evaluate and refine policy and procedure =
documentation,
manuals, business cases and operational plans and prepare the =
documentation
for publication on established Intranet web pages.

To be successful for this position, you must meet the following Key
Selection Criteria.

=B7     Be able to confidently convey ideas and information in an
interesting, relevant style. Develop content using concise language,
organise information in a logical sequence, understand and present =
content
to meet the needs of the target audience.
=B7     Be able to comprehend technical and procedural concepts and convert
them into readable online material.
=B7     Have knowledge of web authoring tools and techniques, across a =
range
of software applications.  Experience in the use of Rapid Web / Lotus =
Notes
is an advantage.
=B7     Strong written, verbal and communication skills.  Ability to work =
as
part of a team, but to take direction and be a self-motivated worker as
required.=20
=B7     Solid background in preparation of web content, business writing,
business process analysis, policy and procedure documents.  Experience =
in
large Government agency processes a distinct advantage.

Candidates short listed for client interviews will be required to =
produce a
folio of their work.
