Brian What is now called Business Analysis used to be known as Systems Analysis. It was included in many IT, engineering and business degrees, usually as a 2nd or 3rd year subject. Try any of the on-line, distance-learning universities, eg, UTS, Deakin, UWS, etc. Hi Brian To clarify fo everyone, this is exactly what I do not want. Systems Analys= ts come from a systems perspective and so does their training. I have foun= d a TAFE qualification in 'Business Analysis' that results in a qualificati= on as a 'Systems Analyst.' It is focussed on systems specification with ve= ry little concentration on working with the business to solicit business re= quirements. =20 As many BAs are being recruited direct from within a business, often from f= airly junior roles and with very little IT experience, there is a diffferen= t category of BA for which training is needed. These people are frequently= found on ERP style projects but are popping up elsewhere. Whilst they nee= d to understand the IT context they have no need to understand any IT speci= fics.
