 Technical Writer ? 6 Month contract in Canberra


Excellent Opportunity to join a large government department in Canberra. Our
client is seeking a Technical Writer (Technical & User Documentation
specialist) for a period of 6 Months.


Skills Required.


a)       Significant experience in the production of technical documentation
of complex software systems constructed on the component-based
object-oriented approach;

b)       Significant experience in the production of user documentation in
the form of programmers? guides. API specifications, quick-reference guides
and reference manuals;

c)       Advanced skills in Microsoft Word;

d)       Experience in the use of graphic design and modeling tools;

e)       Experience in and knowledge of the use of HTML and Web publishing
tools;

f)        Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team of professionals
with a diverse range of skills;

g)       Highly developed written and oral communication skills and the
ability to deal effectively with both technical and business staff.

h)       Knowledge and experience of source control and document management
tools.

 Desirable:

i)         Knowledge and understanding of the Unified Modeling Language
(UML);

j)         Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft technologies,
specifically .Net;

k)       Knowledge and understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and
other aspects of Internet security.

l)         Business Analyst Experience
