Here is my first (unapproved) attempt:
The Austin Texas Game Programming Special Interest Group (ATXGPSIG) is for
anyone either professional or amateur who has an interest in computer game
programming. The group seeks to share the joys and difficulties of computer
game creation with face to face meetings of those who are like minded. We
hope by doing this to increase our skills and have fun doing it. We are not
an industry networking group.
