I had no experience with soldering, and I've found the experience
of assembling my keyboard very interesting and rewarding.
However, rather than in a presoldered kit, I see a possible interest for
a PCB + controller only kit (or PCB + controller + switches&caps).
I, for example, would like to experiment with 3D printing for the case
(my idea is actually to experiment with a different design, stemming
from Atreus, Ergodox and Dactyl keyboards, but that's another story)
