I'm interested in creating an Atreus with RGB underglow using the QMK
firmware. I wrote to Technomancy, and he had this to say about it:
"*You could certainly do this with an Atreus keyboard that had a*
*translucent case. ...the photo you linked to uses a bunch of RGBLEDs which
are already mounted in a strip and communicate over SPI orI2C, meaning that
you could just glue it in under the PCB and connect itto a single
PWM-capable pin with some hookup wire. All the PWM-capablepins are already
assigned in the default pinout, so you would have tomove one of them to an
unused digital pin, but this shouldn't be tootricky.I know there are others
using the QMK firmware with the Atreus, so it**should work fine.*"
Is there anyone else out there who has done this? I don't know how to
accomplish freeing up a PWM capable pin. What would be required to do this?
