[atlantaprog] printing on CD-Rs

Has anybody here tried the Epson printers that can print directly on CD-Rs?  
I'm tempted to buy one but wonder what pitfalls await.  I've never noticed 
spindles of CD-Rs being labeled as ink-jet printable or not.  Can anyone 
recommened brands that hold ink well?
