The thought also crossed my mind...
Regardless how any of us feel about the band ASIA (and
for the record, I AM a fan, and were the means to how
I even discovered prog rock in the first place), I
also feel that it is important that our logo avoids
resembling Roger Dean's famous logo for the band. In
fact, if ours resembles that logo too closely, we
could be open to a lawsuit as that logo is copyrighted
by the artist. As it is, most of us know that there
is an ASIA album with the same name...and Dean used
the logo letters for the title as well.
I still contend that the logo should convey "forward"
motion, looking ahead, over the horizon, etc. etc.
