[atlantaprog] making it happen: talk or action?

On 4 Productions charges $60.00 per hour for graphic designs, which is a
typical charge.  I asked what they thought about a group presentation
package, what format they thought it should be in etc.  If we have a
general idea of what we want and we give them an outline, submit all the
necessary materials, I estimate we could probably do it in 3 hours or less.
 I think there should be at least 8 bands in on this, to make it a
legitimate revolving showcase offer for the venues, to offer them a brand
new audience they wouldn't otherwise have without us.  That is the bottom
line for venues, they don't really care who you are, they just want to know
the headcount you can bring them.  We have to make them believe (as well as
make the efforts to really live up to this) that we can always bring some
kind of a crowd with us.  If we do this, using a production company to help
make us look good, we have to seriously commit, financially and with our
time and materials contributions.  Who's with me here? :-)
