PS re. this dictator thing... I DO hope I can merge into the shadows 
at some point in the future, but since I got this going, I feel a bit 
of an obligation to keep steering it along until it is solid enough 
to run on its on. I have a feeling that if I pulled out right now, 
ARIA would cease to exist, except perhaps as just an email dialog.
