[atlantaprog] Re: logo

Hi all,
Actually, Greg and others, this is a great argument AGAINST using
flash! Lots of people don't have the the plug-in installed correctly.
My intention was to only use the Flash thing as a splash screen with
the actual home page being static. I would include a Flash-detect
script so people without the plug-in will go straight to the home
page.

Thanks Wade for the comments about the Z-Axis site. It's not a
particularly exciting design, but it's clean, functional and FAST.
These are the things my clients want when I build sites for them
(speed IS important!) so I spend a lot of time with graphic
optimization and cleaning up the html.

Greg, I think we're just about there with the splash screen. I want
to correspond with you off-list about the final tweaks, but it will
have to wait a day or so 'cause I'm pretty swamped right now
(self-employed freelancers don't get holidays!). What I want to do is
settle on the final logo BEFORE we tweak the animation any more, then
work backwards from there.

AWG

PS Wade, how's the mastering going? When do you need bios and pics?
