[atlantaprog] Re: logo

Wade,
It sounds as though the Flash plug-in isn't installed or is corrupt.
Maybe downloading the plug-in from http://macromedia.com may fix this
problem. The second file should be able to be viewed using dialup as
well as the station's site. I design it to allow for dialup. I really
hope this fixes the problem you are having.

Hi Everyone,
I know most of you probably have pretty fast connections, but speaking
as
someone with a very slow connection (26,400 bps if I'm lucky), I was not

able to view either of Greg's logos. I waited 10 minutes for the new
logo,
but just got the red "x". I can't visit the Prog Palace website either
because none of the links will come up on my computer. I can't get
anywhere
on that site except the home page.

I guess my point is that there are still people out there like me with
slow
connections. I'd like to suggest that when the ARIA website comes into
existence, this will be taken into consideration by including some text
and
text links. The Z-Axis site is a good example of the kind of site that
works even when you have a slow connection. It loads very quickly even
on
my computer! For the most part, text and small images are best for my
connection speed. Anything with animation is just a real pain to try to

view on my computer. I really don't care much what the logo looks like
or
even if it will load on my computer. I just thought that this would be
a
good time to mention that I think the ARIA site should include text and
small images so that even if someone can't see the logo, they still know

where they are and can still navigate and get information.
