oy...you just *had* to bring PH into this! LOL He's another vocalist I can't
deal with much...Pawn Hearts is pretty cool and Lemmings is in my top five
fave. songs BUT...I can't stand his solo work! :(
Yes Mark, most of it IS the actual *sound* of his voice..but his lyrics don't
do much for me either though.

The more *interesting* question to me it "what form would Jim Morrison's
lyrics have taken were he still alive today?" Can one remain apocolyptic even
while becoming more constructive and lucid? I'd say yes, it *can* be done.
Look no further than some of Peter Hammill's lyrics. But *would* he have
achieved this? ...Guess we'll never know!
But I suspect that has more to do with the actual *sound* of his voice than
it does the *content* of his lyrics.
