Thanks all for attending the gig last night and thanks
for asking today how it went. We had a good time and
it was fun to play with Karma Lingo!

It is true we had a couple false starts at first, I
just wasn't happy with the opening vamp we worked up
and much like some other folks I am seen (Zappa for
instance) stopped and wouldn't let the band go forward
till I was happy with it. I probably shouldn't make a
habit of that, but it seemed ok to me last night, and
felt necessary. Once we got going though, the set
turned out good. I was not convinced at all and
walked away from the gig rather pissed off, but when I
got home and looked at the footage, I realized we
played about as well as we usually do, cover tune not
  included.

The cover was a neat idea, and I appreciate the props
for giving it a go, warts and all. Shame we didn't
have more time to tweak it, but heck, we did what we
could in the time we had to get it together, along
with the rest of our set (one day a week for a month-
not a WHOOOOOLE lot of practice time there for
  anything quite honestly).

Overall I am pleased with the set we did and eagerly
await tomorrow's headlining set at CJ's as well, it
will be a later set, so come around 10 and stick
around and be ready to party!

  Thanks again all!
