[atlantaprog] Re: gig reminder

Sorry, that night I went to see The Mahavishnu Project (awesome show,
btw).  Then I have basically spent the last 2 weeks in and out of ERs
and Drs. Offices due to some complications from nose surgery that I had
about 1.5 months ago.  And I also managed to somehow buy a house in the
process too.  I will be recovering and packing,and spending money on
hiring movers to move me since I cannot do any real lifting, and getting
as much rest as possible, so I won't be able to do squat till probably
just after New Years.

I also missed G3 (Satch, Vai Malmsteen) last night, and will probablyu
be missing Trans-Siberian Orchestra when they hit town on the 25th or
26th I think.

BTW, for those who don't know, TSO is made up of members of the old prog
metal (more like Queensryche, and from back in that time frame as well)
band Savatage with an orchestra of sorts playing prog-metal versions of
X-Mas tunes.  They have been doing this for several years, and always
get rave reviews (and in the mainstream press no less!).  If you have a
chance to see them, GO!

I have been spending my time resting (actually I just went back to work
today) starting to delve into Django Reinhardt's music & style, so my
time has not been totally wasted at home and doped up on pain meds!  :-)
