You're right about RLC. Even if they would allow the volume, their PA and
stage are not really equipped for full electric bands. Have any of the bands
on here played at Eyedrum? I tried to check it out at the Richard Pinhas
show but it was canceled so I don't know what it's like.
Also, my group, Lord Only, will be playing at the Smith's Olde Bar open mic
this Tuesday, 9:40pm. It's just two songs, open mic style (use the house
equipment, so a bit scaled back for us, no guitar synths, vocoder, etc) but
it is full band, electric, and generally the performers are pretty good and
varied. We're similar to Rush, King's X, Yes, Gentle Giant. It'd be great
to see some fellow Atlanta "proglodytes".

Lord Only
"The man that hath no music in himself, Nor is not moved with concord of
sweet sounds, Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils;
The motions of his spirit are dull as night, And his affections dark as
Erebus. Let no such man be trusted." --Shakespeare
