Speaking of flyers, last year I handed out flyers and business cards at
the Dream Theater show for the station. Maybe we can come up with
something to incorporate ARIA and The Prog Palace. At least it would get
an interest enough to tune in and if the flyer said something about
Sundays might help too.
Another thought would be to market your shows something like, the night
before being a "Pre-Dream Theater/Queensryche show" or something a bit
different to draw attention. Ok, I'll stop babbling.
On with the show.....
Station Standings:
I am very happy and wanted to thank EVERYONE.
It's only been a month since moving to Live365 to stream the station. In
that time the station has gone through some changes, the website, the
music additions and more.
It's been a GREAT month for the station as the rankings climbed from a
ranking of 600 in the rock genre on 3/3/03 to an astounding 70 on 4/3/03
I never expected to reach that so fast, but I am thrilled that it has
and I thank those out there that have tuned in.
And finally anyone that is interested I have a program called Arrow
located at http://www.jadebox.com/arrow/ this is a mailing list program.
All you need is a mailbox for it and it works as a mailing list. Now
mind you I've used this in the past and just started it back up today. I
had people on the list that I've emailed today as well. Those who wish
to join the list feel free theprog@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx just put subscribe
in the subject.
This will allow for those people listening to get the latest news. I
believe I will do it once a month unless a special event is announced.
Your thoughts are welcome. :)
