Pardon my French, but *are you kidding*?  "Vintage" is so much the 
thing these days that it's hard for *new* things to get a word in 
edgewise.  I mean, we've got manufacturers that never existed in the 
'50s putting out new amps with That Vintage Look.

I don't see how voicing one's desires for the world--one's ideas of 
how the world could be a better place--is "arrogant".
