and updates of known artwork.
Be sure to attend the 2 upcoming nights of performance art and music
associated with this visual art exhibit.

Stewart Haddock's "A Painted Flower a Day"
Atlanta computer programmer and artist Stewart Haddock came up with
an idea: For one year, he would hand out one painted flower a day –
to friends, friends of friends, and complete strangers. It would
force him, Mr. Haddock reasoned, to approach people he would not
normally approach and hold a conversation with them.
The simple resolution turned into a yearlong art project and social
experiment that transcends media formats.
Through March 1

The December & January Eyedrum Podcasts are ready to download.
February: This month we played live Tree Creature (playing at Eyedrum
again on March 12th), MV+EE, Magicicada and Baby Dee (both Feb 25th),
and a live recording of Zentropy. Then we peeled paint with a blast
of rawk from Psychedelic Horsesh*t, Times New Viking, White Mice and
Sighting, all of which are playing at Eyedrum on various dates in
March. We played a few tracks by Beat Circus and Larkin Grimm in
anticipation of their Feb 12th show. Then Andy Ditzler from Film Love
visited us in studio to tell us about his Tearoom (Feb 22nd) and
George Kuchar (Mar 21st) film events. We finished off with a couple
Open Improv pieces and one by Kinan.
You can find information and links to download these podcasts (and
many others) here…
Eyedrum’s programming is supported in part by the City of Atlanta
Office of Cultural Affairs and by the Fulton County Board of
Commissioners under the guidance of the Fulton County Arts Council.
