Dear Eyedrum Member,
Just over seven years ago, a semi-permanent loft party moved to
Trinity Avenue and then to a full-fledged gallery and performance
space on MLK Drive . Today we’re still all-volunteer and fiercely
committed to the local, the underexposed, and the just plain weird.
Because of your support, we provide over 150 events a year, allowing
500 or more painters, musicians, poets, dancers, performance artists,
and plenty of otherwise unclassifiable people to do what they do. All
this is done on a budget less than a tenth of other contemporary arts
organizations in Atlanta .
Your support has made Eyedrum the premier artist-centered
organization in Atlanta and one of the finest in the Southeast.
We can’t always promise you’ll like what we do. That’s kind of the
point. But there’s always more to see. And we can promise you can’t
see it anywhere else.
Your support makes it happen.
This year we have made renewing, joining and donating to Eyedrum even
easier:
You can use PayPal:
To renew through Paypal go to www.paypal.com and log-in or register.
Select the "Send Money" tab at the top of the page.
Enter membership@xxxxxxxxxxx as the Recipient's E-Mail Address
Enter Services as Category of Purchase.
In the Notes section, include your name, address, email address and
phone number so that we can deliver your membership card and
acknowledgement letter
You can renew, join or donate at Eyedrum:
We accept cash, checks or credit cards for payment.
If you are interested in paying with your credit card, please speak
to one of our Gallery Sitters or a Board Member and they will be able
to assist you.
Annual memberships provide free admission to a year of Eyedrum shows,
and they still start at just $35. This is the quickest and most
effective way to show your support for Eyedrum.
Join up for 2006-2007, will ya? You’ll get in free and we’ll spend
it on art.
Thanks again,
Robert Cheatham
