I like the album very much and think it's Rush's best set of songs in a long time. Musically, I think it's just ducky. However, the maximization applied to the album during mastering makes it extremely fatiguing to the ears. I have to hear it in bits, rather than from start to finish. There are very obvious digital crackling noises on the album that do not belong there. I honestly think the ball was dropped somewhere. CH
