[atlantaprog] Re: atlantaprog Digest V1 #5

Oh, man, you wanna come up with a better name or a better definition of
"prog"?

We could wrangle about this for weeks, months, years even. I'll fire the first
salvo.

For some of us it's new music, avant garde, or bleeding edge. But for some of
us it's honoring the past, music which was progressive in 1973, but which by
definition isn't any more, because it's 30 years old.

I say let's keep this a "big tent" organization and accept anything that's
outside the conventional commercial categories and/or radio market segments,
such as pop, jazz, country, alternative...you get the idea.
