[atlantaprog] Re: another aspect

Some GREAT drum tracks released during the 80's:

Bonzo's Montreaux (1982 - recorded a little earlier before Bonham died
so this is kinda borderline) Led Zep from Coda

Some Like It Hot (1985) - Tony Thompsons sound on this album kills!
Wasn't the drum track recorded w/ his kit in an elevator shaft or
stairwell or something?

Release it - OK, well this is really 1990, so another borderline track -
By Morris Day & the Time off of Price's Grafitti Bridge. Been a long
time since I listened to this one, so it might just be the groove and
not necessarily the drum sound that I thought was so great.

My favorite drum track recording of all time has got to be "Fool in the
Rain" from In Through the Out Door. To this day I crank that song up
and play air drums when I hear that song. Such a killer drum sound!

There were some good records w/ great dum sounds recorded during the
80's. Think about Rush, they had some great stuff released then.

Primus released some cool stuff w/ good sounding drums during the 90's.
I always liked Anthrax's drum sound too..
