It's interesting that you should use the word "alive" in that context.  I
remember reading article after article back then about how the '80s sound
was supposed to be inspired by an effort to get away from That Dead Studio
Sound Of The '70s and back to That Great "Live" Sound Of Those Old Motown
Records And Such.

BTW, they're playing Renaissance on "Stonehenge" right now, I think.
