Alas, it's virtually impossible for me to get to gigs, especially now.  
Viz.:

Monday-Friday:   work "real" job until 11:30pm
Saturday:  working at Ga RennFaire (at Starfire Swords)...and exhausted
after a full day working there
Sunday:  ditto, plus there's a traditional drum-circle and dance that we
usually gravitate to, lasting until 12mid-1am.  (At La Fiesta restaurant
in Union City)

Outside of Faire season, the only nights that are technically free for
me are Sat. and Sunday; even late-starting shows on Friday are out
because I'm at WREK-FM.    (Moral:  weekend shows are Better :))

Bleah.  The only reason why I'll be able to attend the Opeth show on
Monday night is that I'm going to have to (ahem) Get Ill for work
(cough, cough)  :)

Side note on the latter:   Porcupine Tree and Opeth are looking into
dates for a tour around July; that would be the softer Opeth as heard on
the DAMNATION cd.   I doubt local venues will take the bait, though,
unless the asking guarantee is low.  :(
