Yes, Ms. Reitzes plays mostly the greatest hits of the genre, but is that
any different from Z93, 96 Rock, 99X or any other commercial station in
Atlanta for that matter? They all aim for the middle of the bell-curve of
taste within their format, but that's no reason to convert any of the
stations to talk. You can get political and social commentary from
newspapers, magazines, websites and books, but classical music in Atlanta
only comes from one source and shouldn't be diminished. The obvious
solution is of course to have two stations but failing that, I think WABE
should remain a mostly music format.
