The Brandy House is technically in buckhead, but it is further up
Roswell Rd. There is TONS of parking as it is in a strip mall-type
place. It's right near the Fellini's on Roswell kinda halfway between
B'Head and 285. No crowds, none of the buckhead hassle, but it is
definitely close enough to buckhead that people will be willing to come
out. (it's maybe a mile from the heart of Buckhead).
The cool thing about 10High/Darkhorse, is that you will probably get
plenty of walk in traffic, which is probably the biggest plus about the
place (and that is a pretty important plus!). It's not a huge place,
but then again you don't need as many people in there to make it LOOK
packed. Back in the early 90's if I wasn't at the old Cotton club to
see a band, I was w/ a group of friends either upstairs or downstairs at
the Darkhorse.
They serve pretty good food upstairs as well, so if the bands get any
kind of a discount on food that's always a bonus. :-)
