thought I'd share this with ya'll...its sad news....:-(
Kenny shared this with some of us...thought since Nektar has come up a few
times in chat that ya'll might want to know about this....
Received some very bad news from Mick Brockett regarding a member of the Nektar
family.
Jim MacDonald gone, but not forgotten.
Those that knew him will remember his humour, and "big hair" as he assisted me
on the lightshow during the American re-union tours of '02/'03. Jim was found
dead in his apartment yesterday, a victim of the brutally frigid temperatures
here in the North Eastern U.S. He apparently died in his sleep from carbon
monoxide emissions sometime Wednesday or Thursday.
He was a good friend of Nektar, and will never be forgotten for his input and
help, he was a big part of the Jersey shore scene, especially around Asbury.
Mortality has been defined today, and Jim was too young to die. He will be
sorely missed.
Mick.
Those of you who never knew him or remember Jim by name, please have a look at
the 'Photo Album' and scroll down the first page to the third photo on the
right column. Jim's first on the left.
