I love the fact that she jumps from Mozart, to Beethoven, to Glen Miller, to Elvis, to Buddy Holly, to Little Richard, to Jerry Lee Lewis, to Johnny Cash to the abyss. And her list is so been there done that. I'm sure we could find lots of better examples;^)

Oh, I dunno. If her son is actually listening to Wolf Eyes and Merzbow, then he's pretty cool in my book. She's conveniently skipped over classical "noise" (starting with Stravinsky and Varese, and continuing on through folks like Xenakis), though. And I think I need to send her kid some Glenn Branca CD's for Christmas.
