Yellowcard is only "alternative" because they have a violin player.
They're pretty much generic alt-pop that would fit nicely with Good
Charlotte and Blink182 and so on. They're pretty good for that sort of
thing, but if you're looking ahead to the question of "Is the crowd
going to be OK for a teenager?" the answer is almost certainly "The
crowd will be chock full of harmless 16-year-olds".
I see you're getting a decent response about the venue itself, so I'll
just say that it is a nice, professional sort of place. This is not
some scary dive, and I don't think it will be full of cigarette smoke.
