I haven't heard s quat by Banco or PFM.
These are two Italian bands that ELP signed to their Manticore label and released English-language versions of some of their albums. Not sure about Banco, but the English lyrics on PFM's "<x-tad-smaller>Photos of Ghosts" and "The World Became the World" were written by Pete Sinfield (you may have heard of him). However most PFM aficionados prefer their Italian versions, "Storia Di Un Minuto", "L'isola Di Niente", & "Per un Amico". A later, album, "Chocolate Kings" shows a bit more of a fusion-direction but is still quite good. Any of these albums would be a good place to start.
Re. Banco, I don't know their American release, but their Italian albums "Io Sono Nato Libero" and "Darwin" are both excellent. I can burn copies for you - maybe a sampler - if you want.</x-tad-smaller>
