Soundscape #116 The Angst of Herman Hesse
I am not absolutely sure that Herman Hesse had any kind of angst.
Nevertheless this show looks at music inspired by his works. Sadly for this
author, I was unable to find a lot of progressive music. However, Hesse is
an amazing writer and deserves full credit for his enterprising story lines
and philosophical dialogue.
The second piece of the puzzle emerges out of my new job; which is working
with abused teens. Many themes emerge out of the situations that I find
myself in on a daily basis, this theme was no different.
Also look out for new music from Pat Mastoloto's "Tuner" and Argentinian
soundscapers Hyacintus. It was an enjoyable ride and I hope you all have a
good time listening.
Next week we return to 1971 plus more new prog rock from Kataya, Moonbound,
Jon Olivia's Pain, and Von Garcia, and a Jam Session from Umphreys McGee.
