Details: Soundscape #111 The Orwellian Incident
Hello fellow Soundscapers!! This week we turn our eyes to music that is
inspired by the novel 1984 by George Orwell. The book takes a stark look at
a future that might be if we are not careful and let heartless ideologies
take hold. For my part the book was an amazing journey..and strangely almost
all of my favorite media arises from Orwellian inspiration. There was a
dearth of music available for this show- so the show is a bit longer in
hopes of exhausting the supply of sources I came across.
Next week we may or may not get to an Italian Prog themed show. I have been
working on the various leads that I have, but I want to make sure I do the
best job I can in alerting you to the world of Italian prog. Therefore, I
will let it take the time it requires to do the show properly. Nevertheless,
we will have an entertaining show for you next week, so please stop on by.
