Well, their format is apparently "Classic *Hits*" (or at least that's
what their tag line is), which indicates something a little more "pop".

Exactly. "Too much $ riding on it to take *any sort of risk*" has
been the standard line for eons now. I guess I oughta invest in an
HD receiver so I can catch everyone's second streams.
Rock 100.5, OTOH, has gotten my attention by playing a decent share
of older tunes not heard in, well, eons--tunes I think lots of fans
have been wanting to hear again, at least occasionally. From what I
can tell, they're essentially the station people kept wanting 96rock
to be. They'd be most likely to play the likes of "Aqualung". "Mr.
Blue Sky" is the real orphan here, I think.
