[atlantaprog] Re: Showcase happenings...

Late slots are do-able. Would ya'll be up for 9/21 if it works out?

Wade was the one who did Dragoncon. My band, Z-Axis, has played at Dragoncon three years in a row, albeit with nowhere near the success McFly had. Timing is everything! I'd been hearing about Dragoncon for years and one day I just called them and told them about our show.

The best way to find out about fests and such (in the prog world, at least) is to stay tuned in to discussion boards such as Progressive Ears (http://www.progressiveears.com). There are a number of prog fests around the country that usually get booked up months in advance (they're already announcing the acts for next summer's NEARfest!)

We'd love to play...but unfortunately Tuesday nights are class nights for Heidi Ho....until 9:30...we'd be open to playing a late slot on one of those nights if possible...hope you are all doing marvelous...congrats on the Dragon Con draw...that must of been awesome! How did you find out about it anyway? I've been wondering how people find out about festivals and whatnot before they happen...
