[atlantaprog] Show 59 Return to the library

Sometimes the universe offers up something amazing and organic that just
flows and takes you away to distant places. This show is one of those
times. You should go and download it and see what I mean.

Highlights- New music from The Road, Galactic in the Jam Session,
Riverside's song of the week, and our theme Return to the Library with lots
of great literature inspired prog.

I had so many wonderful suggestions from you guys that I could not get to
everything. But, I decided that we should have a regular book club. Each
month I will anounce a new book (do not call me Oprah) that has inspired
some, or several pieces of progressive music that we will explore at the end
of the month. This month's selection is John Gardener's "Grendel" which we
will check out at the end of May. So make your way to your local store and
ask the person at the info desk if they have that new book for the
Soundscape Book Club. When they look perplexed, you should say, "Oh you
know, that progressive radio show everyone's talking about" (say this with
as southern a drawl as you can- if you do not know how, just add a syllable
to every word). You can then of ocourse tell them about the show, how much
you love it, and how much they should listen to it. Then they will tell 2
friends, and so on lol.

Next week- Criminal Prog
Please send your suggestions for progressive songs about crime, murder,
theft, rape, assault, speeding, selling, and whatever have you.

And 2 weeks from now (finally) Contradictascape (upbeat music with sad
meaning, downbeat music with happy meaning)

Thanks for checking out the show!
