[atlantaprog] Show 42 Classical Prog

Ok Folks, next weeks show is on. The theme next week will be progressive
rock artists playing classical music. From the beginning prog rock
attempted to adopt the trappings of classical music and bring it into the
fold of rock music. The idea was to see rock music as an end product, a
form of art rather than the rebellious or kitschy vehicle it had become.
Now I am going to need your help with this one. If you have a favorite
classical piece played by a prog rock band please let me know what it is.
Suzi's father would like for me to produce a piece from Mozart, but on this
one I do not know who has taken Mozart to that level so if you have some
ideas please drop those in the mix as well. We will also give credence to
prog rock that has adopted classical ideals but does not cover the classical
masters. Moody Blues is the first band that springs to mind here. I look
forward to your feedback and everyone have a good holiday weekend.

Cheers,
Woody
