Well as far as I know the case hasn't come to trial and he's out on 
bond. But what I remember, it sounds like they've got a pretty good 
case against him. After all, he DID push a cop down some stairs!

I wonder how his Canadian citizenship will affect proceedings? I sort 
of surprised they let him go back to Canada (if he's even BEEN back).

I don't doubt he's guilty of something (like being a drunk and disorderly on 
New Years Eve, imagine that), but 5 years for pushing someone or scuffling, and 
marked for life as a felon?  Uniform or not, anything more than 60 days and a 
fine is absurd.
