[atlantaprog] Re: Roguefest thanks!

I'd like to second the thanks to the bands and organizers of RF. I only caught
some of the Saturday acts but they were good and Eyedrum is a nice place to
hear music. I especially liked Capillary Action.

On an unrelated personal note, Echo Hotel is playing tomorrow, Wed. 7/12 9pm at
Ten High (Dark Horse), and on Sat. 7/29 10:30pm at Club 29 (Jake's) with
another Atlanta band, Foxtrot November (coincidentally, also named after
letters from the military/aviation alphabet-- Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, et al.)
Hope to see some of you there.

who missed TouchXTone's set, you'll have
another chance next week - on Friday the 21st, they open for Sue
Wilkinson at Eyedrum. Some of you may know Sue as a dynamic
rock'n'roll/r&b pianist/singer, but she also has an ambient, ethereal
side. A while back, she did some collaborations with well-known ambient
synthesist Patrick O'Hearn, and for her Eyedrum show, she'll be
revisiting and exploring this material. Think Lorenna McKinnet/Kate
Bush/Enya/Enigma/Sarah McLachlan/Cocteau Twins.
