[atlantaprog] Re: RogueFest...bad news from the Kargel clan

Well, I was unable to find this out for sure until a
couple of days ago, but we unfortunately will be
unable to attend RogueFest this year.

The reason is that I simply do not have enough time
off left at work to be able to do it...I have just
enough time left for the Christmas holidays.  I used
up too much time when Rowen was born and all the time
we spent with him while he was at Egleston Children's
Hospital in Atlanta.

To say that I am disappointed is an understatement.  I
really wanted to come out and support the bands...to
take some great pictures for the bands to use for
their own promotion...and especially because we
planned on this being Rowen's public debut...other
than Jeff Blanks, no one has met the little guy yet! 
It was going ot be his first dose of live prog!

If I were actually playing in RogueFest, this would
have been a different matter entirely, but alas, I am
not...but I am sure that RogueFest will go on without
me.

I wish all that are participating in RogueFest, be it
a band or an attendee, that the festical will be a
success and we can continue the upward trend that has
been established!  Best of luck to all!

P.S.  If anybody has good pics and/or video or live
audio from the festival they would like to share with
me...please let me know...I would like to tune in
online through Greg's ProgPalace (assuming he is still
going to do that), but I will be at work, and I likely
won't get access).  Thanks!
