[atlantaprog] RogueFest day 2.....

Day 2....

We started out hearing 'The Lost Boys'....they are fun, witty and well...they
wear kilts, what more can I say? Cute guys in kilts will work for just about
any chick I think! LOL Although men in kilts playing electric guitars was a bit
odd...I think I enjoyed them better in the actual Renaissance Festival setting,
all acoustic...but they are always fun and have all their groupies/roadies,
whatever with them!

Cobweb Strange started off great! I didn't realize that Holly was no longer
with them, but Bill seemed to fit in really well! They are always fun and
hopping! Their rendition of 'Carwash' was really fun!

Unbounded Sky sounded great, these boys (and I can say boys since they are all
teenagers) just floor me with their talent! To be honest much of their music is
over my head, but they put on a great set! It was a bit longer than I had
expected and they do have a lot of equipment to set up! I still can't believe
Bill plays all those keys at once and after playing with CS he still had the
energy to do it! (must be nice to be young!)

Noisedotcom...well...I'll always be a bit biased with these guys, but they just
keep improving! Everyone was tight and right on with them! I loved the tunes
and even though Foster said there wasn't enough guitar I thought the guitar
sounded AWESOME!!!! Mark was TOTALLY GREAT as usual on keys and Mike sounded
best that I've ever heard him sound! Sean, Wade and Becky always round things
out and John was just rocking away on that bass! You guys keep up the great
work...you get better and better!!!

Man On Fire of course stole the day for me! These guys truely never let me
down! My girls loved them and Jeff is as usual his wonderful animated self on
stage! I'd love to see Jeff on stage with Jonn Buzby of LoC...keys and
vocals...that would be so fun and energizing! I loved seeing Meg (my oldest
daughter) being able to sing every word with MoF!!! That always makes me feel
great! She was happy (finally) when they started 'Just out of Reach' ...just as
requested Thanks tons guys!!! Addie (my youngest) proved once again that prog
CAN be danced to LOL

I had a great weekend...a bit stressful bringing the kids with me...but all in
all it was great! Thanks Wade and Allen for doing this for us! Thanks to
Brandy, Wade and Becky C. for helping me at the door and thanks Becky C. for
all else (you know what)....

PEACE
Beth
