Hmm, I'm still waiting for a survey that's more exhaustive in its scope and
correlation of variables, rather than just a thumbs up/down for some
current, major label releases that appear on sales charts. What about a
breakdown by genre, catalog/current albums, perceived ratio of hits to
filler tracks, from fan surveys? I think it's naive to assume that sales of
Beyonce's latest and "Broadsword and the Beast" will be affected the same
way by filesharing.
