[atlantaprog] Re: RIAA has to put up or shut up...

And the record companies NEVER do NOTHING wrong:

I know, I know the band is not a good example of what we consider good music,
however this is a good example of how some artists are getting screwed while
the same record labels call their customers "thieves"

OK, maybe the wrong choice of words, more like they got snared by their own
incredible stupidity, wrongheadedness and lust for power/control. In any case,
I hope the RIAA is dealt a fatal or near fatal blow over this. I mean, these
dumba$$es bought up a suit against someone who was quite deceased for one. And
the fact that thy expect everyone else to bow down to them, but when faced with
the dilemma mentioned in the article, they're a bunch of sniveling weasels who
will try to weasel their way out of the situation, so much for fairness.

I'm now always this blunt and wanting to beat the living crap out of someone,
but these RIAA Nazis get me ticked off enough to want to indulge in some, shall
we say, inter-personal violence.

So, Phil - how exactly is the RIAA being hypocritical in suing people for
copyright infringement? Ill advised, wrongheaded maybe, since the effectiveness
of the suits could certainly be debated, but hypocritical?

It's about time those bastards got caught in their own hypocrisy! String
