[atlantaprog] Progression Magazine, etc.

I just wanted to let everybody know that John Collinge
finally got Issue # 43 out...I received my copy today.

I was disappointed that the bands on the compilation
CD were relegated to the BACK PAGE, but since the
alternative was to not be in the magazine at all, I
guess we can live with that!

John Collinge mentions in his forward about the
emergence of prog-rock "support groups" nationwide,
and in fact names a few of them, yet ARIA is curiously
(and conspicuously)absent...especially odd since it
was a decisve factor in the compilation CD making the
magazine in the first place!

In addition, there is a review of Cobweb Strange's own
compilation CD in there, and it is a favourable review
overall.

I noticed a lot of ads from RogueFest bands, including
a FULL PAGE one for Cobweb Strange!

Switching gears...Lord Only rocked an (almost empty)
Masqerade Friday night. Maybe it was the bad weather,
but I always thought that that club was busy on
weekend nights...maybe I have been out of the loop for
too long...

Signing off for now...!

Regards,

Bill
