Hey gang,
On Nov 15th and 16th is the Prog Power and I'm thinking about making up
some flyers to hand out at the entrance (not that I have a ticket to get
in, Don't I wish), but to hand out flyers for the internet radio station
in hopes to get the audience to listen to the station, if nothing else
get them to the website. Now they have a place to visit to find out
about local Prog events. I plan on setting up a calendar of events. I'll
start off local, regional and as the need arises I can move to global.
This would help get listeners to the music played here in Atlanta with a
new night show of local bands, but currently the day of the week is up
in the air, if you have any suggestions for a good night, feedback
welcome.
This year I've been to a few concerts and all I've done was print up
flyers from my laser printer, but I've gotten some listeners that way.
If anyone has any other suggestions I'm open and if anyone wants to come
hang out and do hand outs at The ProgPower you're welcome to join me.

Metal; nowadays it's fairly brutal although I try to inject a bit more
melody and proggishness to it when I can. :)

Errm, not quite true. I had nothing to do with the booking, but I can't
say I was disappointed with it. :) I -do- handle the
Concourse/acoustic bands for D*C, though.

Okay, that appears to be a fair assessment....

with Earthlink Live as the venue. (Tim knows damned near everyone in
music, especially locally.....:))
