[atlantaprog] October meeting...

Hi folks,
I believe I've already mentioned it, but just in case... the next
meeting is Monday after next (Oct. 6) at the usual place.

Does anyone have any work-in-progress they'd like to bring in so I can
demonstrate the Critical Response Process I told ya'll about? A demo, a
rough mix, even just a few phrases or riffs. I've used this technique
in a number of settings and really is a great way to move your work
forward. It was developed by Liz Lerman, a choreographer from DC, but
it's methods work equally well in all artistic disciplines (incl.
music!) A quote:

> Through the Critical Response Process (CRP), professional artists are
> taught to provide and receive constructive criticism in a multi-step
> group process, providing them with enhanced tools for generating and
> receiving constructive criticism. The CRP promotes dialogue with
> audiences and professional colleagues while teaching artists to elicit
> the critical feedback that is essential for continued artistic growth.

So... is anyone even interested in learning about it? I'm offering to
demonstrate it as way of broadening the content of our meetings. Of
course, CRP won't be the only thing we talk about!
