Hi Folks!
Just a short note here to keep you abreast of all
things NoiseDotCom.
1) First up, thanks again to everyone that attended
the Saturday night gig at CJ's! We had a great time
and played what was considered our best set yet!
Thursday night at 9-Lives certainly hinted at this
possibilty, and was a good set in it's own right once
it got rolling, but Sat raised the bar a notch for us
and I am thankful as we are getting ready to spend the
next month in the studio and also working on new
material for our live set. It is nice to have the
memory of a gig, with most of the I's dotted and T's
crossed, fresh in our minds to start the upcoming
month's projects with.
2) Speaking of those... We are gearing up to record a
batch of tunes from our live set, in the studio. We
hope to release an EP in the future. We have enough
material to do an EP and a regular album as well, so
don't expect any song overlap if we do, there is
enough for both and then some. These recordings won't
be live per se, this will be a layered affair. Any
suggestions about what songs we should put on the cd?
I mentioned the name of each one the other night, I
hope some out there made a mental note of the ones
they liked best.
3) If you haven't checked out As We Dream yet, please
do! We really enjoyed the double bill together Sat
with these guys (they played a great set) and have
another coming up in May. May 8th to be precise at a
place in Lawrenceville called LUBY'S. I saw the guys
there last month and the club is a happening place
(i.e. packed on the weekends regardless who the band
is)! It is set up in a way where there is no
segregation of the the patorns. One door, one room,
one cover charge and one big party. Come see us and
AWD in May!
4) Enough about us!! Somebody tell me about Lord
Only's trip to Florida and the gig with Little Atlas!
Details please!
Best Regards,
Sean Tonar
