I honestly don't enjoy PLAYING that much; it's just that if I don't play, the music doesn't get made, eh?

I guess that's one difference that I didn't take into account. I actually enjoy playing most of the time.

On the other hand: if you truly love music, try having an open mind about music you don't love.

Fair enough. But don't forget to reserve your right to keep not liking it if that's what happens.

Agreed.

For some, truly loving music means not playing just any old music.

I guess for me that goes back to my statement about actually enjoying the playing part. There are songs that I don't enjoy listening to that I do enjoy playing and songs that I enjoy listening to that I do not enjoy playing as much.

With that said, come check out our lame-ass, sell-out cover band online at www.RadioCult.com or feel free to come out to a show to point and laugh at us in person!

Are you playing Atlanta anytime soon? :)

Thursday, July 6: Peachtree Tavern, Buckhead, GA Thursday, July 13: Wild Wing Cafe, Suwanee, GA

The thing about Radio Cult is that you seem to be determined to have as good a time as you >possibly can with it. You know, "lemonade" and all that.

Yes, I am determined to have as good a time as I can, but I don't see it as making lemonade from lemons. For me, the old day jobs were lemons and I was not very good with the lemonade. As unbelievable as it must sound, I actually enjoy playing 80s covers - no lemons, just good times ;-)
